Results of our customer survey on the use of AI in viflow
We are pleased to present the results of our recent survey on the possible use of artificial intelligence (AI) in our viflow software. The survey showed that the requirements and wishes of our customers are very diverse. We are therefore currently examining exactly how we can define the priorities for implementation.
Use of AI in day-to-day business
The majority of respondents already use AI in their day-to-day business. Of the 584 participants, around 23% stated that they regularly use AI, while 38% rarely use AI. 39% of respondents do not currently use AI.

Areas of application for AI
Of those who use AI, 69% use it as a source of information on the Internet or on their PC. 82% use AI to support their work, and 31% have integrated AI into software applications.

Popular AI tools
The most frequently used AI tools are ChatGPT (85%), Microsoft Copilot (50%) and Perplexity (13%). Other tools such as ElevenLabs are used less frequently.

Expected benefits of AI integration in viflow
559 people responded: Our customers expect various benefits from the integration of AI in viflow. The most important are easier use (74%), increased efficiency (67%), faster problem solving (50%) and improved decision-making (32%).

Reasonable AI support in the WebModel
551 people responded: When using the WebModel, our customers primarily want an improved search function (68%), help with the application (72%) and accessibility (61%).

Support with modeling
537 people responded: When it comes to modeling, our customers see the greatest benefits in the automated creation of process graphics (79%), the review of existing processes (68%) and evaluation in modeling (59%).

Process management with AI
534 people responded: In the area of process management, our customers would like support in identifying process optimizations (78%), process-related risk management (64%) and checking model consistency (67%).

Concerns about AI integration
534 people responded: Despite the many advantages, there are also concerns regarding the integration of AI in viflow. The biggest concerns relate to data protection and data security (50%), the complexity of implementation (36%) and the lack of control over data changes (48%).
