viflow at the Dreyer GmbH

For more than 30 years, Dreyer GmbH from Lengerich has been a supplier to the mechanical engineering industry with around 50 employees, producing a wide variety of components and assemblies for mechanical and plant engineering.

Since 2013, Dreyer has been using viflow to map all processes and publish all relevant information.

Andre Lippik, representative for quality management and IT management, uses viflow to present the complete company structure - with organization chart and all processes - in order to make it available to every employee.

"As soon as you have settled in, viflow is very logical and well linked. Process models and diagrams can be created and managed in any depth. Because each process is a separate object, it can be reused in any model. This leads to the great advantage that if something should change in the process or sub-process, it only has to be changed at one point and everyone has direct access to the updated information. In this way, no change is overlooked anymore."

Another advantage, besides the good linkage, is the web model, which allows all employees to have access to all processes and information. Due to the high degree of digitalization, every employee has the possibility to call up the web model via a PC and thus gets all the information he or she needs. In addition to a fast flow of information, this also ensures transparency without long searches in stacks of paper."
