Introducing: Tobias Hugo has been part of our sales team for over 15 years

The entire ViCon team is highly motivated and committed to viflow and the concerns of those interested in viflow on a daily basis. In our series “Introducing”, we regularly tell you more about the people at ViCon.
Today we introduce you to Tobias Hugo from our sales department:
Tobias joined the ViCon team in April 2009. As a trained industrial clerk, he previously worked in the automotive industry for many years, took a one-year detour to IBM in Ireland and already brought a wealth of sales experience to the team.
"My main tasks include acquiring new customers and looking after our existing customers. When I joined ViCon, I already had several years of experience in selling upper-class cars and quickly realized that selling software works in a similar way.
The biggest challenge in customer contact is to determine the actual requirements, as viflow can be used very flexibly and software requirements can vary greatly. The same applies to our constantly growing range of services. What are the customer's expectations and knowledge? Which projects are to be realized and are the technical requirements suitable?
Listening to each other and an honest exchange are crucial in order to find the best possible solution for all sides in the end. Online presentations and live demos, which are also part of my job, are ideal for this and allow interested parties to get a perfect “live picture” of the software.
Thanks to the short lines of communication at ViCon, it's easy to think outside the box. If I have problems with the software and any questions about our services, I regularly exchange information with our support and consulting teams. But there are also frequent points of contact with Product Management and Development.
The highlights of my job? Definitely maintaining our internal and external contacts, working together as a team and the great feeling of being able to make a difference despite being just a small part of the whole."
