You can find tutorials and interesting videos on process management on our YouTube channel viflow.tv.
With a few small tricks, working with our process modeling tool viflow can be greatly simplified.
In the viflow edition viflow silver, you have the option of creating and customizing the "Process description" report. Many more reports are available in the gold edition. Using the process description as an example, we would like to show you how you can customize reports to suit your needs.
First open the Reports window. To do this, go to View – Window – Reports.
Now search for the Process - Description report and open its properties window by right-clicking – Properties.
You will see the General, Profiles and Configuration categories in the report properties.
You have the following options in the General tab:
If you select the Yes option here, the report is generated during the WebModel export and can be called up for all process objects via the properties window.
If all sub-processes are to be included in the report, activate Yes here. However, integration into the WebModel is no longer possible in this case.
If it is a large or long process graphic, it may be useful to rotate the graphic by 90 degrees. This keeps the graphic legible. To do this, select Yes from the dropdown.
Here you can specify the file format in which the process is to be displayed. The options may vary depending on the report.
In the Configuration tab, you can show or hide all subordinate viflow objects or properties in the report. This applies, for example, to comments, the release status, potentials, etc.
If you want to create several reports of the same type with different settings, you can use the Profiles. First add a new profile using the plus icon, enter a unique name and confirm with OK.
